Not the beginning of time, but the beginning of communication. Specifically wireless telecommunication. Mobile phones have been around for so long with us, that the thought there was also at some point a prototype by some new scientist never crosses our mind. It is hard to imagine someone figuring out the possibility of wireless communication for the first time. People must have deemed them crazy. From that, we have come a long way and iPhone app development will drive us forward into time.

It is probably really hard to imagine a person being laughed at for inventing wireless communication for the first time, which will eventually revolutionize the sector of communication. We now live in a world where we hold mini supercomputers in our grip.

It all started with Thomas Alva Edison when he created the first wireless telephone. From there history has led us to mobile phones.

It is probably in human nature, that whenever they achieve something, they always want to surpass themselves. Whenever there has been a discovery or invention of some sort, the thirst for more development on the subject has only risen

So naturally, the scientists and technological geniuses did not stop at making wireless phones. Instead, they put their brains together to form applications on the phones for people to enjoy.

The first-ever recorded application on a phone was by IBM. They released a phone in 1993 that had a contact book, a clock where the times of all places in the world could be seen, a calendar, and a calculator.

This seemed to be the latest update on the phone. Seems insane to this generation that downloads and uninstalls applications like they value nothing. There is also no shortage of applications for anything and everything.

Back then, the battery that the phones used to work with was so primitive they had to be charged for 10 hours daily to perform for the rest of the day. Now, we have our superfast chargers that charge our phones in minutes. There is no problem that we have to face during a full day of using our device.

This experience is a reward for those that started to work on application development in the first place. Now we even have applications designed to shut down any background applications running on our phones, to make the battery last longer.

Needless to say, phones back in those days had many network constraints. The network was hard to find and would only work to a certain range. And now, we have access to the network enough to have a clear conversation with people, sitting miles apart.

Anyone from any part of the country is now in the palm of our hands.
